Description
Not to mention the beauty of the peacock, I also love the symbolism. He naturally sheds his feathers every year, and then gets newer, even more brilliant ones. Christians used the peacock during Medieval times to symbolize that we can have a renewed and redeemed life through Christ who died for us and was resurrected.
